Everything is always what you choose to make of it. It’s not the situation itself that creates the experience—it’s how you approach it that ultimately makes the experience what it is. What’s devastating to one person may be an exciting opportunity to another. You don’t have to approach everything with optimism and vigor, but take responsibility for the approach that you do take, because it is always a matter of choice.
